Euphoria actor Angus Cloud penned a short-but-sweet social media tribute to his late father just days before his own death.
The 25-year-old star tragically passed away at his family’s home in Oakland, a gut-wrenching statement confirmed Monday, per TMZ.
His heartbroken relatives revealed Cloud was “struggling” with the loss of his dad, who died just days before his shock passing.
Writing on his Instagram earlier this month, sharing a snap of his father in a red tracksuit, Angus wrote: “miss u breh.”
The post has since been filled with comments from fans, paying tribute to them both after news of Cloud’s unexpected death.
His family told TMZ: “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today.
“As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.
“Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss.
“The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.”
“Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence,” the statement adds.
“We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone.
“We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.”
Cloud also starred in North Hollywood and The Line – he also made appearances in music videos by rapper Juice WRLD and artist Becky G.
