Chase increases interest rate on savings account to offer ‘competitive rate’ plus cashback | Personal Finance | Finance

Customers can open up to 10 of these accounts at one time to help with budgeting and saving.

Meanwhile, debit card users will also get one percent cashback on everyday debit card spending for a year and five percent interest on round-ups.

Rachel Springall, finance expert at Moneyfacts, said challenger banks often offer better rates than the high street.

She said: “Easy access accounts remain a firm favourite among savers, but it’s disappointing to see many of the biggest high street banks are paying very little to their loyal customers.

“However, challenger banks and building societies are offering some of the best rates out there, so it is always worth considering the more unfamiliar brands.”
