Kate Middleton news: Royal fans go wild for throwback snap of smitten her and William

A heartwarming photo of Prince William and Princess Kate from eight years ago proves the royal’s relationship is a product of ‘true love’, royal fans have pointed out. Royal watchers marveled at a gorgeous picture of the pair from a 2015 Royal Polo that resurfaced on the internet, showing Kate smiling at Prince William in polo gear.

Shared on Twitter, the eight-year-old photo was compared to a nearly identical snap of the pair taken at the Royal Charity Polo Cup on Thursday. The picture of Kate in a blue dress closely mimics the exchange William and Kate shared at the same event eight years prior, with one eagle-eyed royal fan labeling it the “same look of love”.

“Love to see true love between The Prince and Princess of Wales,” wrote one fan in the threat. “So Inspiring!!!! Love is love,” wrote another.

Kate beamed as she watched William ride across the grounds at Thursday’s match, but looked even more delighted to reunite with her husband when he came down from the saddle.

The Princess of Wales appeared to offer William some words of encouragement as the match came to an end by giving him a thumbs up with both her hands.

The royal mother-of-three even embraced her husband with a sweet kiss on the cheek after the match, before William was presented with a trophy.

The royal couple also shared a sweet moment at the 2022 Charity Polo Cup at Guard Polo Club, when they walked with their arms wrapped around one another after sharing an embrace.

Kate and William have always acknowledged the Queen’s wishes for royal family members to avoid public displays of affection, but the pair have made several tactile gestures in recent months.

A similar look of loving recognition was noticed between the two just a few days earlier during the Order of the Garter service at St George’s Chapel, Windsor.

The Prince and Princess of Wales first met at the University of St Andrews in 2001, and still look as smitten as they did in the early stages of their romance.

The pair have stood firm since their 2011 wedding, despite the marital woes and divorces that have swept the royal family in recent decades.
