Next James Bond: Henry Cavill overtaken by star with ‘shortest odds since betting opened’ | Films | Entertainment

According to William Hill, Aaron Taylor-Johnson is now odds-on to be announced as the new Bond. The 32-year-old star of Avengers Age of Ultron and Bullet Train has moved from 6-4 to 4-5. A spokesperson for the bookies confirmed this makes him “the shortest-priced 007 candidate since we opened betting”.

Behind him is Henry Cavill on 11-2, followed by Chiwetel Ejiofor on 7-1, Dan Stevens on 8-1, plus both Richard Madden and Regé-Jean Page on 9-1. Of course, all this should be taken with a pinch of salt but there have certainly been some rumours surrounding Aaron in the news recently.
