Andrea Bocelli announces concert with Ed Sheeran, Shania Twain and Russell Crowe | Music | Entertainment

It was 30 years ago in February 1994 when Andrea Bocelli made his spectacular TV performance debut that led to his worldwide success.

To celebrate the milestone anniversary, the Italian maestro has announced not one but three performances at the Teatro del Silenzio.

This “theatre of silence” is an open-air amphitheatre in his home town of Lajatico, Tuscany.

The singer performs an annual concert there every July and for the rest of the year it lays silent.

Given its his 30th anniversary there will be three nights with some very special guests.

Andrea said on Instagram: “As a child, I learned to dream about my future in the enchanted silence of these hills. Then life made that dream happen. Today, 30 years later, I can only imagine celebrating my career and my life, its strength, and its wondrous beauty here at Teatro del Silenzio, surrounded by such wonderful artists and friends. I want to thank everyone who helped my childhood dreams come true with an unforgettable concert”.

The special guests announced are Ed Sheeran, Shania Twain, Sofia Carson, David Foster, Sofia Vergara, Nadine Sierra, Lang Lang, Russell Crowe, Giorgia, Lauren Daigle, Sir Bryn Terfel, Virginia Bocelli, Laura Pausini, Jon Batiste, Jose Carreras, Placido Domingo, Tiziano Ferro, Katharine McPhee, Zucchero Fornaciari, Christian Nodal, Aida Garifullina, Matteo Bocelli and more.

Andrea Bocelli’s 30th anniversary concert takes places in Tuscany on July 15, 17 and 19 and tickets can be booked here.
