James announce UK arena tour with massive band supporting them – here’s the info | Music | Entertainment

Things just got very exciting for James fans.

The iconic British rock band just confirmed they are releasing their 17th studio album in April 2024.

While they have been extremely sheepish about the details thus far, the rockers have confirmed news that the record’s first single will be released in January 2024.

To celebrate the release of their new single, album (and general comeback) James confirmed they’re hitting the road in summer 2024 on a massive British tour.

They’ll be hitting such massive venues as Cardiff’s Utilita Arena, Glasgow’s Hydro, and – of course – London’s O2 Arena, beginning in June 2024.

This gigantic arena tour is going to be one of their biggest yet, so fans do not want to miss it.

Tim Booth, James’ singer, said of this exciting news: “Deeply proud to announce that we are touring next year to coincide with the release of a rather wonderful new album that we are mixing this week. The new songs sound belting, and will fit this arena tour. Really looking forward to celebrating with you. Expect a mixture of the expected and unexpected – just like life. Nothing but love”

Even more exciting is the news that James will be supported by one of the country’s most recognisable bands of all time.

Bassist Jim Glennie said: “We are delighted to announce our 2024 Arena Tour, supported by the wonderful Razorlight. Come and share a night of biggies, rarities and a sizeable chunk of our exciting, next NEW album! See you there folks. With love, Jim from James.”

General onsale tickets for James’ arena tour are out at the end of the week – but there is a presale event going on before that.

James presale tickets are due to come out on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 9:30am.

These presale tickets will only be available to James fans if they carry out an important task, however.

James are being supported by the iconic RAZORLIGHT.

This British band are, of course, best known for releasing such songs as In The Morning, Golden Touch, Wire to Wire and America.

Together, these two bands have sold millions of albums, and toured the world countless times over – so their shows together are not something to be missed.

James has confirmed they are releasing a brand new album in 2024.

However… that’s about the only thing they have confirmed.

James have not announced the title of their 17th studio album, nor when it is hitting store shelves and streaming services.

They have, though, confirmed that “news” of their first single will be released in January, 2024.
