James Bond producer confesses Hollywood star would’ve made ‘great’ Bond | Films | Entertainment

Two years since the release of No Time To Die and fans are awaiting the announcement of the next James Bond.

In the meantime, EON Productions have been working with 72 Films on their upcoming reality TV series 007 Road to a Million.

At the premiere, Bond producer Barbara Broccoli was on the red carpet when she confessed which star would have made a great 007.

It turns out she was talking about Succession’s Brian Cox, who is the Bond villain host known as The Controller in the new show.

Speaking with Bond expert Mark O’Connell, Broccoli praised the 77-year-old Scot.

Broccoli gushed: “He’s the greatest. Brian Cox is on top of the world. He actually would have made a great Bond, I have to say. He would have been a GREAT Bond.”

The actor himself shared that Sean Connery and Roger Moore were his favourite 007s for their wit.

Cox, who starred in the Bourne spy movies, added: “I thought this may be my big moment to play a Bond villain. I’ve always wanted to play a Bond villain.”

007 Road to a Million is streaming on Prime from Friday.
