Princess Charlotte and Princess Eugenie were style twins for major royal event

Princess Eugenie looked radiant as ever as she stepped out at a Coronation Big Lunch on May 7, 2023. Later that evening she wowed at the Coronation Concert. 

For both events the Princess wore the Luz Dress in Ivory by Gabriela Hearst, priced at $2790 (around £2,169).

The mid-length dress boasted statement blouson shoulders and a deep V-neckline.

The dress was predominantly white but featured black panels across the waist, the neckline and down the centre of the skirt which gave the illusion of a cinched in waist.

Gabriela Hearst’s official website describes the elegant dress as follows: “The Luz dress in heavy wool crepe cuts a strong silhouette. Flattering in fit through the bodice and hips it then flares out subtly towards the skirt sweep.

“A multi-pleat detail on either shoulder creates a full sleeve that contrasts against the slim torso. Belted with front neckline panelling detail that further enhances the deep front neckline.”

The stunning Princess, who gave birth to her second child Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank just weeks after the Coronation festivities, was show stopping in the gown.

Eugenie appeared to pair the Gabriela Hearst dress with some comfy Croc-Print-Leather Ballet Shoes by Dune London, priced at £85.

After the Coronation Big Lunch Princess Eugenie joined the royals for the fabulous Coronation Concert, where Princess Charlotte was spotted wearing a very similar dress to her auntie’s.

The young Princess, eight, looked adorable snapped standing just in front of Eugenie in her own ivory and black dress.

This was the Self-Portrait Ivory Scallop Collar Chiffon Dress, priced at £210.

The short-sleeved dress was predominantly white, just like Eugenie’s, but featured a few black touches including detailing on the collar and a bow under her neck.

The official description reads: “In contrast with its bold scallop-edged collar, this dress’ pleated chiffon gives it a lightweight feel. It has short sleeves and a triple tiered skirt, as well as a black bow to tie everything together.”

Both Eugenie and Charlotte wore their hair in a half-up-half-down style. Charlotte sported loose tresses with just two little plaits tied together at the back of her head. Eugenie sported some face-framing layers and a section of her hair up for extra volume.
