Britons who are deciding to move abroad, regardless of their motivations, will also need to consider the implications for healthcare. 

The NHS confirms those who are moving abroad on a permanent basis will “no longer automatically be entitled to medical treatment under normal NHS rules”.

This is also true for retirees, who will need to notify their GP practice so they can be removed from the NHS register.
