Andrea Bocelli celebrates daughter Virginia Bocelli’s 12th birthday – Watch duet | Music | Entertainment

Virginia Bocelli was just 8 years old when she made her professional singing debut opposite her father Andrea Bocelli.

For the lockdown Christmas of 2020, the pair sang a goosebump-inducing duet of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah via live-stream at the Teatro Regional’s di Parma.

The performance went viral with over 30 million views on YouTube to this day.

Since then Virginia has been touring with her father singing other classics covers like Over The Rainbow.

That was before recording a Christmas album two years ago with the maestro and her brother Matteo Bocelli, who released his debut solo record last year.

Most recently Virginia has a new duet with Andrea called Dare to Be, which features on the soundtrack of the new movie Cabrini.

The 12-year-old rising star makes her big screen debut in the film as a choir girl called Aria.

During her scene she leads others in a rendition of Va, pensiero aka Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves from Verdi’s opera Nabucco.

With her music and acting skills, Virginia is certainly one to watch and we wouldn’t be surprised if she ends up having a big music and Hollywood career.
