‘I have large cup size and I get boob-shamed when I go shopping’

Fuller-busted women share the difficulty of finding the right bra size – but one woman claims she also has to deal with boob-shaming from sales assistants.

Annie Lynn took to social media to discuss the struggles she experiences due to the size of her chest, which she likened to a “ski” slope in a clip posted from her account @annieelynn.

Her shopping woes include sales assistants frequently underestimating the real size of her breasts, or speculating that she does not know her correct bra size.

“Every single time I go bra shopping I will go into the store and say, ‘Hi, I’m looking for a 32DD because it’s typically hard to find. Where can I find that?” Annie said in the clip.

But sales assistants struggle to process the size, she explained, adding: “Every, every single time, the lady will look at me and say, ‘That’s not your size, and I’m like’, ‘Yes, it is,”.

Annie said that in most circumstances, she will proceed to try on a smaller cup size as per the sales assistant’s recommendation, just for them to confirm that it is indeed too small.

She said: “And then, she’ll put me in a bra that’s not my size, typically a D, and I’ll try it on and she’ll say, ‘Boy, you look like you’re spilling out there.

“Every single time, without a doubt, and it’s because I have ski slopey boobs that I can hide really well.”

The woman blamed the unusual shape and size of her bust for her shopping struggles, but many resonated with her plight in the comments.
