Queen Camilla wowed guests on Thursday evening as she attended a military awards dinner in London.
King Charles’s wife was accompanied by two of his relatives as she was guest of honour at the Rifles biennial ceremony at the Guildhall. Camilla, who is Colonel-in-Chief of the regiment, was joined by the late Queen Elizabeth II’s cousin, Prince Richard, the Duke of Gloucester and his wife, Birgitte, Duchess of Gloucester, who are the unit’s Royal Colonels.
The royal looked elegant in a blue patterned velvet gown by Fiona Clare. She accessorised the look with the Van Cleef & Arpels Serpent Necklace which belonged to her grandmother, and the Vintage Alhambra 5 Motifs 18k Yellow Gold & Agate Bracelet (£4,050) as well as the Sweet Alhambra Heart 18K Rose Gold & Carnelian Bracelet (£1,233) by the same brand.

Camilla also sported a diamond and emerald brooch which was commissioned by the Rifles as well as her Lindberg N.O.W. Titanium 6564 TB Glasses in Navy Blue / Rose Gold (£397).
To keep warm from the cold, the Queen chose to wear a Saudi robe which is known as a daqlah and was presented to the then-Prince of Wales by designer Yahya Al Bishri when Charles visited Saudi Arabia in 1998.
The Queen’s outfit sent royal fans into a frenzy and many praised the royal for her fashion choices.
One royal fan said on Instagram: “She looks great and is such a great example of someone ageing gracefully” while another one chimed: “Her grandmother’s serpent necklace is stunning!”.
A third fan said: “The gown is lovely on her” while another one added: “She looks great”.
During the event, Camilla spoke about the intervening period since she attended in 2021: “The last two years have showcased The Rifles magnificently.
“Much has happened since we last gathered here at the Guildhall – from a full-scale invasion, the largest seen in Europe since the Second World War, through to the first coronation in 70 years.
“I note with pride that Riflemen have boldly remained in the vanguard, doubling towards each of these challenges.”
The Queen has personal links to The Rifles through her late father Major Bruce Shand, who she said would have wanted her to “commend your loved ones, who make your work possible and keep the home fires burning”.
